How about Distorted Minds, Hazard, Swift, or Friction.
Maybe even DJ R.A.W, Starscream, or Capital J from the us.

Some of these may be repeats from 'back in the day' but anyway...

Adam Beyer and Marco Carola (preferably together)
John Dahlback
Mathew Jonson (as long as he doesn't wring out 'decompression' for a half hour)
Alter Ego
Blackstrobe (I'd settle for Ivan Smagghe)
DJ T
Derek May
Kevin Saunderson
Richie Hawtin (as long as he doesn't play like he did in c'bus a few years ago)

Derek we're working on one of the ones on your list.

Really nothing to add to that.

But do people in Cleveland have any clue who Danny Krivit, Gilles Peterson, Francois K, jacques lu cont are? And that's just the biggest names in your list.

btw I'm addicted to Peterson's Worldwide show on Radio1 Smile

That is why you need a successful weekly, to introduce new talent, but that's been said 100 times.

this would have to be a hugely successful house based weekly considering these guys get top dollar. honestly, i haven't seen a house music weekly that could support this since i have been back in cleveland.

Most likely because house is most dear to the hearts of an older crowd... who work jobs that don't allow them to be out past 9pm, support families, have re-discovered television, are saving for their retirement, or have moved on to to the jazz and soul artists that were sampled in the house they loved.

He was here not too terribly long ago.... like 2002 I think... he played to like 50 people in Metropolis on a Friday and we used to sell multiple copies of all his releases.
