or, James has contracted Dysentry and has died

that too. the key was to not purchase clothing at the onset and leave hometown in the spring.

that dysentery will get you every time on the Oregon Trail.

...

on another plane of thought, have you ever known someone to die of dysentery? my grandpa had pnuemonia and died of dysentery (God rest his soul). what a terrible way to go...Pappy had only one lung (the other took a bullet in Africa vs. Gen. Rommel) and died probably the most horrific death one can achieve other than ebola.

...

anyways, i had an apple IIgs growing up (yeah ProDOS) with 256k RAM and i upgraded it to 512kb (via another pin-aligned 256k 32-pin SIMM). let me tell you, 'Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego' ran about 100x faster after that (via disk boot, since it had no HD) and I won the regional national geographic geography Bee 3 years in a row after that. never made it to nationals, tho. Sad

...

...anyways, i'm done. i had to whip out the oregon trail card and what benefits it brought me. sorry it became something emotional.

...barrrrrrrrf Very Happy

LOL!!!!!!! Laughing I also have an Odyssey 2. It's at my dad's in his basement. I used to play it all the time. I have tons of games for it. My favorite game was Pick Axe Pete. Smile

HAHAHAH!!!

I actually have TWO Odysseys in the room next to me in a box.
I think I only have one with The Voice though!

I even saved some of the games boxes.

Why don't we bring all our Odyssey2 stuff to the Abbasso for the next PsyTek party and hook it up to the big screen? I also liked pick axe peak. My favorite was Acrobatics...because the Voice would say "Amazing!" and "Good job!" over and over in a really funny way. Laughing

Or bring it Friday night for the Halloween party. We usually bring the XBox, but if we know you'll bring the Odyssey, that'll be one less thing to drag out. Let me know...

I have a lot of games, but when one of my joysticks on one of the systems conked out, I took them apart...unsuccessfully...so I don't think my systems work at the moment, but I have games and the Voice that should work...if someone brings an actual working system.
