I'm trying to remember the name of the place online i used to get all my heavy duty cables from... but it's escaping me for the moment... and making this post entirely pointless.

Better prices than here:

??

50-100 or more feet would be best... it's for video, not audio, so I'm not worried about a signal loss or interference over a longer length.

you could try calling up radio shack...

the thing with long cables is that the longer they are, the more $ it is since of the impedance factors...you could always use some female-female couplers and chain more than one together.

I have two or three 30 foot cables, that can be put together with rca couplers. I used to have a bunch more, but they were stolen.

We need two long cables for the SAFMOD performances and rehearsals at CPT from October 10th through the 16th, though.

Could you part with them for that duration?

Although, I think them may just buy/rent some cables.

Thanks for offering!

thanks, jdat...

We are running live video feeds from two video cameras and my little Sony does not have S-Video out... but I will be running a cord from my camera into a VCR with RCA ins and outs to use as a "through" and then to the LCD projector...

...so we need long RCA cables. You're right, S-Video would be higher quality, but my VCR is outdated and doesn't have S-Video out.

The $ you'll spend on a ghetto setup he can rent you and be sure you've got any amplification or humbuckers if you need em. video over that far of a distance is just asking for trouble. maybe he can offer some sort of solution...
