This is hilarious. Try it out:

Go to www.google.com

Type in "failure" without the quotation marks.

Check out the 1st document that shows up! Hahaha! The word "failure" is nowhere to be found at all within that document. Those guys at Google must be some serious pranksters.

Also note the second document that shows up.

Props to the world's most powerful search engine for subtly spamming their beliefs to its users.

Actually, the way that Google's algorithm works doesn't require the search term to be within the found page itself. Google ranks a page based on the quantity and relevance of other web pages that link to that page. So, you can game Google's search results by having a ton of other sites about "failure" link back to the George Bush page. It's been done for other search terms, as well.

That being said, I am sure that Google is well aware of this, and chose not to violate the Prime Directive and interfere with the results!

that more people who don't support bush know how to use the internet? not surprising at all =P

how the whitehouse link made it to the top:
http://deepquest.code511.com/blog/comments.php?id=120_0_1_0_C

you can also see how many sites link to to the whitehouse page by entering:
"link: http://www.whitehouse.gov/president/gwbbio.html" in a google search. you'll see about 3500.

god bless the mob majority tactic. tried and true in america.
