So last night I went out to see Alexander East, (who rocked BTW, and lived in Toledo for a while) and I end up talking to a guy that does events and Djs, etc... named Henry Chow. So we get to talking and he finds out that I'm from Cleveland, he's like, "you know Andy James??? He's my boy!!!" He gave Andy mad props!!
That's what I love about the music scene, I'm all the way across the States and Ohio peeps are repin'!!! It's a small world!!! Makes me feel good man!!! Keep up the quality Andy, you're getting props all the way down here in Houston. Very Happy

Alexander East? Wow I have a couple of 12's from him...one of which has a remix from Rick Preston(who gave me one his last copies)! You're right Naps...small world indeed!

for those who don't know who henry chow is, he's the first (chinese) american to release records on marco carola's zenit label. he's played in europe a couple times and his trax are played by every top techno jock. the man is teh bizzness when it comes to funky techno! everybody should check out his website and listen to his trax! www.henrychow.com

houston is the techno capital of texas and there's always quality events there a couple times a month. besides chow, andrei morant, tim xavier, chris anderson, and bruno b are from houston. i'd possibly like to move there someday Cool

hey naps i'll be playing 2 dates in texas (san antonio & austin) in 2 weeks, hit me up for the info!

Yeah, all these cats rock the warehouse parties that I was talking about. If you can line something up with Henry, whenever, you know you have a place to stay down here Andy!!
