Why did everyone all of a sudden start switching up there usernames?

because the option became available. the idea was for people to change their user names to what others were most familiar with so that everybody knew exactly who was posting.

i was wondering the exact same thing...

seems like those changing didn't really need to...everyone knows who
they are because theyre popular :wink:

I responed to this once.... where did it go???


There are a lot of new faces around here, and those whose nicknames do not reflect their real names is kind of confusing. I encouraged everyone to use the names they are most well known by IRL because it would avoid problems. The problem is that some took the opportunity to spread further negativety with it. That kinda bothers me, but until it changes our google ranks (too many swearwords on the site) I'm not going to complain.

If we are to grow, the tone around here needs to change, and we should either go back to allowing fake names and open bashing each other --- or be held accountable for what we say.

True / Not true... As i've always said... i have a hard enough time remembering my own name let alone your name, your dj name, and your nightlife name.. and all at the same time.

A little consistancy would be sweetness... but hey whatever.

It would be nice if at least somewhere (Avatar, screenname, or signature, for example) the real name and DJ name were present. Same for promoters... although I think most already do.

Mostly everyone here on CNL knows everyone by their nickname or, Dj name but, when you start calling yourself Hater or, Asshole, people probably frown on that when they don't know who that is. I would not be prown to go to an event thrown by someone with either of those two usernames if I didn't already know who they were
