I've also only heard second hand... but from what other's have said... and correct me if I'm wrong....

Moda was busted for something, now has their liquor license taken away... they're trying to get a new one, but some city council people are prohibiting them from doing so...

I also heard something about drug trafficing & money laundering, not sure if the club was doing that, or someone inside the club was charged with it.

If anyone can find an article on this... or can clearifiy....

from the rumor mill i heard the owner was busted for drugs but this was a while ago.

as i recall, it was stated on 5 that the owner was the one busted
and somehow Moda will be kept open till the end of summer, but might not make it any further.

sweet someone needs to buy it who knows a thing or two about real nightlife and put that space where it belongs...in the underground...
