and what is it? they take trade ins on older ipod models or they allow you to exchange if you damage your current ipod?

its not just with ipods, i think its pretty much everything you buy there... you can trade it in within a year, i think it is, for whatever reason, and get a full credit for anything in the store. i need to re-read my contract when i get home, but im pretty sure thats what it is.

and if that didnt make sense, breakestra only allowed me 2 hours of sleep last night..so, im a little less coherent Smile

here's the deal, i just had an experience with it.

apple offers a one-year limited warranty on all hardware. if you take your hardware to an apple store and it's fubared, they will replace it in 2 days with the exact same product you bought.

i took my black and white 40gb iPod there because i ruined my hard drive (smacked off my knee 10000 times too many when jogging) and i thought i was going to get a shiny new 40gb color iPod. nope, i got a shiny new black and white iPod in 2 days.

apple offers applecare extended warranties which last for a range of years. i bought a one year extension for my iPod for $60 because i abuse the crap out of it.

mine is a circuit city deal. and im too lazy to find my contract. but its pretty much what i said before.
