Ok, so I have a Dell laptop, and I'm pretty sure I've blown the soundcard it comes with, because i get like a static noise on bassy stuff, or just loud stuff really, sometimes not even. Anyways, I need a good soundcard anyways, especially one so I can use Traktor with headphones and run it out to the sound system. I don't know jack about this. What is a good soundcard for 200 bucks or so?
Anyone?
PS - If I get a new soundcard, that static thing will go away, right? I mean that would be something wrong with the current sound card right?

Also, think about whether you want to go with PCMCIA card, FireWire or USB 2.0. Make sure you get one with low latency.
