01) Beyond Death is the Vast Ocean of Nothingness
02) The Soviets Ain't Got Nobody But You
03) Politicizing the Plight of the People
04) New York Has Burrowed a Black Hole Through My Soul
Smothering under the shear mass of futures unknown, caged into unfamiliar corners, and anxious about strange conditions looming on the near horizon, “The Siege” has psychically purged more confused paranoia into physical sound-scapes that at once reflect the disparate sentiments of hope and despondency, the outer spaces of far-flung galaxies and the inner spaces of the undiscovered mind, love and hate, in all of their general meaninglessness.
It was therefore an organic and natural consequence of these chaotic times that they name their newest release “Transient EP.” Containing a recapitulation of two tracks from April’s Randall Flurgenbach EP, “Beyond Death Is The Vast Ocean Of Nothingness” and “Politicizing The Plight Of the People,” The Siege have also included two new tracks, “The Soviet’s Ain’t Got Nobody But You” and “New York Has Burrowed A Black Hole Through My Soul.” Every song here will disquiet the mind making it supremely clear that we will all be, at one point, transients.
