GENERATE

The return of the Akron Wednesday EDM weekly!

OPENING NIGHT November 10th 2010 will be an EPIC night of Akron vs. Cleveland tag team sets!

It's going down like this....

10-11:30 - Mark Roscoe(Soul:R Sound System) vs. Stout XTC(CMHA)

One of the brightest stars of the new era of local house music and co-founder of the Soul:R Sound System meets up with one of Cleveland's busiest house veterans. This duo is going to have you moving towards the dancefloor as soon as you get in the building!

11:30-1 - Randomseed(Tek-Know?) vs. Funk Detective(Tek-Know?)

Being the CEO of Tek-Know? and one of the driving forces behind the last Akron weekly, Re(vision), Randomseed was the perfect fit for week one. Coupled with crew mate Funk Detective, who has been a Soul:R Sound System favorite since the beginning, techno face-melting WILL ensue!

1-2:30 - StyluSoul(Soul:R Sound System) vs. FreeDrinx(Def Row/Wrong Side of the Tracks)

StyluSoul is one of Akron/Cleveland's most diverse DnB DJs and the other half of the Soul:R Sound System. His accomplice for the evening, FreeDrinx, one of Cleveland's best up and coming DnB soldiers, always brings the roughneck sounds. Stay late and get drunk cuz this is bound to be a highly technical display of the dirtiest sort!


We will proudly bring you this party this and EVERY Wednesday!

10pm-2:30am

21+ = FREE
18+ = FREE

Fuck yes! Opening night was a huge success! Akron is back in action people! THANK YOU SO MUCH to all who came and supported last night and all who will in the future! Thank you for the kind words, respect and love that you have all given us! WE LOVE YOU GUYS!

Woah! We think week 2's party may have just topped it! Man did we have fun last night! We can't thank everyone enough for the energy, enthusiam and support! And let's not forget our bar staff! Aaron and Taylor pimpin it every week! And the new guy was great too! Okay enough of the mushy stuff....on to week 3!

OK folks, it's the Eve of Thanksgiving this week and things are a lil different for GENERATE. First off the bar has a band(Drenalin) booked to play until midnight, so GENERATE will officially kick off at midnight this week. We were thinking maybe we will all meet at 69 Taps for pregame at about 10 or so, then head up to The Lounge at midnight for a very special performance!

This week we will be showcasing a new project coming to you from our beloved friend Derek Carney aka Dwreck and Greg Cross aka Gregorio. It is described as "a collaborative video/audio multiple tables/traktor/maschine/synths fx processors hybrid MULTIMEDIA DJ/LIVE PA"!!!

GENERATE will be held in the BackStage Concert Club portion of The Lounge(where the last ROTATE was held) this week! This means massive sound system and pretty lights! We hope we see everyone there! You don't want to miss this!
