This show has been officially cancelled.

For those that would like to see, we do have signed contracts and receipts for our deposits, we get receipts for deposits. If you are interested in seeing them, come to the club and ask for me.

But the short of the long is that Michael Mellon booked the April 30th show knowing full well that we had a binder, contract, and deposit with Skribble for the 7th.

The post for the show with Mellon was actually posted notifying everyone that our show was cancelled before the agent even told us that our show was cancelled!

So our options are as follows:

1. Cancel completely.

2. Reschedule the free show. (as opposed to the $20 show on the 30th)

Even though he is not booked for April 28th or 29th, May 5th or 7th, the agency is making us wait longer because he is already booked here on the 30th, so it will have to be some time later in May.

Cancel it completely. too much B.S. has surrounded this as it is. You're only inviting more plus he might have already been here by then. The only issue is how to handle those who might be pissed that they paid for nothing...maybe get another MTV-friendly DJ in? Mixmaster Mike? That's the first one that came to mind.

Cancel it, let Mellon have the Skribbler! I think you should get a better MTV DJ, Julie Brown maybe? I hear she can rock it!

**Wish really does need to have a make-up show for all the people that paid to see Skribbler the first TWO times! And have it all set BEFORE the MODA show, atleast booked and flyers out. I know of a few MTV DJs that would draw ALOT better and are FAR better DJs than Skribble. Fuck ANY DJ that can't show up 3 times, and FUCK that agent as well!! I would do 1 make-up show and NEVER deal with them again. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL! Two Cents

Well, the first show, we had about 12 feet of snow, so we charged no one and had about 20 people there, Naps, did you call off that night too??

The second one was only a $5 show, on a night that we normally would charge only $5...as most know, we keep our shows affordable.

You know how I feel about this! Quite a few of us told not to bother especially after the last time he was a no show! Although many people were pissed off, there were a lot of others who stuck around and partied with the local DJs who continue to play in their own backyard! The lot of us stepped up & truly represented that night! A free show, with another equally popular DJ would actually show the actions that Wish is on the up & up and not trying to be shady.
