For those of you who know me on facebook, or anywhere else - my room mate and long time friend suffered a massive brain stem stroke.

We were very worried about him for a while, and today was the day he made an official decision about his treatment.

Locked in Syndrom is the state he is in, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Locked-in_syndrome and you can see the long road ahead of him. He will have to give %110.

Jeromy has decided to fight, he will still be in the Clinic for a while and welcomes vistors (all times of the day).

It will be a very very very long road, he is far from out of the woods, and he may not ever be able to move, breath, eat on... his own - but he wants to try. Please continue to keep him in your thoughts and prayers, and thanks for everyone who has stopped by.

His family is going to be out of town over the weekend, so it might be nice to stop up at some point if you know him.

I decided to post this here, because if you don't want to stop up it might be nice to leave a comment or wishes here and we can take them up to read to him.

while I do not not Jeromy I have the utmost respect and nothing but the best wishes for him and his family during this time.....certainly seems a long road but if what people have said about him as a fighter is true he can do it!

Doug, I am so sorry to hear this news. My thoughts and prayers are with him, his family, and loved ones. No one deserves to go through this. Glad to hear he's fighting - wishing him the best.
