People mess up...and that's not REALLY that uncommon...I've seen that happen a TON of times...in the end...everyone there forgot about it within 5 minutes of it happening (including 7up and the DJ).

Let me clarify that I think 7Up is a great DJ and a really fantastic guy.

I used to spin with him a LOOOOONG time ago at the Attic in Akron (the completely illegal warehouse space that doubled as a raver shantytown.)

Its just funny. That's it.

Sure it happens... but how many times is it caught on tape?

Dave "7up" just got here to where we work and saw the file on my desktop. He played it and is laughing aswell. Steve was playing a picture disk and Dave thought he knock the needle on to the "slipmat"! Laughing

worst faux paus i've seen is a dj that got their watch caught on the headshell finger lifty thing, then freak and jerk it back and bent the tonearm.

runner up: picking up the wrong record. with the needle still on it.

i think the worst i've done is cut the master volume looking for the cue volume.

My worst moment was when 7up and I were doing a tag set at Metropolis. Their was around 1500 people in front of us and I picked up the needle on the wrong record! As soon as the music stoped I realized what I did and set it back down. Needless to say I had quit of few people giving a shout out!! Confused Shocked Embarassed
