speaking of public tranportation I live n Akron but work downtown Cleveland. One day while my car was in the shop I decided to ride the Metro RTA's 61 Express bus from Summit Mall to downtown Cleveland...didn't really want to but I had to get to work. Never the less I have decided to go and get me a Metro bus pass for around $30 or so. I wont have to gas up my car as often and I wont have to pay for downtown parking..one pass has ten rides which equals one week.....

In Chicago, the public transportation system is so good, and it's so expensive to have a car there (cost of city stickers & plates, lack of parking, high parking ticket fees, high mo. parking charges, etc) that many people sell their cars and just take the train, bus and cab it. I've had to do it for x amount of mo, after my car was totalled and it wasn't bad.
